Velichovky are known for their spa specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. In the vicinity of the village is a pleasant and tranquil natural environment. There are possibilities for trips to the countryside, and at various places: Fortress Josefov (7 km), Zoo Dvur Kralove nad Labem (13 km), Grandmother Valley (17 km) of urban spa Hradec Kralove (20 km), Castle Nachod (25 km), Castle New Town (25 km) or ski resorts in Krkonoše Mountain and Eagle Mountain (40 km).
