Vysni Lhoty the foothill village, which lies at the foot of the Beskydy Prašivá below the peak (843 m). It lies on the right bank of the river Morávka, south-easterly direction from the town of Frydek-Mistek. The river was Morávka weir built in the village, which used to levy a greater part of the river into the feeder reservoir Žermanice. Dam Lake is located north of Vyšní Lhota.
